WHAT IS YOUR COVID-19 RISKS REDUCTION?
Our cleaning professionals take the following precautions & measures to fight against the spread of germs and viruses. Our cleaner professionals are taking steps to do their part in keeping everyone healthy. This includes:
- Washing hands regularly
- Disinfecting equipment between each job.
- Staying home when they are not feeling well.
- Wearing masks from start to finish
- Practice physical distancing in your home, as appropriate.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A STANDARD CLEANING?

DO YOU PROVIDE THE SUPPLIES?
Cleaning supplies included by default. However, if you have supplies for us to use, we can use yours and will not change in pricing.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
We offer a range of services from weekly cleaning to one-time cleaning to move-in and move-out cleaning. You can see the different services by visiting the front page and clicking on the “Services” button halfway down the page.
HOW MANY CLEANERS DO YOU SEND?
We send up to 1-4 cleaners to your home. If you’re on a recurring schedule, we’ll do our best to match you with the same cleaners going forward.
ARE CLEANERS SCREENED?
Absolutely. The cleaners go through a screening process, reference checks and in-person interviews. We also require significant experience in residential house cleaning to work with us.
SHOULD I TIP MY CLEANING PRO?
We always encourage you to show your appreciation to your cleaning professionals if you’re happy with the work done in your home. It’s never a requirement, but a gratuity is a powerful way to say thanks. Even a personal note from you, simply saying “thanks for making my home sparkle” means a great deal.
HOW CAN I GET A QUOTE?
DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO VISIT MY HOME/OFFICE BEFORE I CAN BOOK A CLEANING?
Absolutely not! We wouldn’t want pushy sales people coming to our house so we would never do that to you. You can get a quote and book your cleaning online. It takes about one minute.
ARE CLEANING SUPPLIES INCLUDED?
Cleaning supplies are included by default. This ensures your cleaners uses the products we have. However, if you like for us to use your supplies, we can accommodate that too. Using your supplies will not change the service fees in any way.
WHAT IF I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THE CLEANING?
Please get in touch with us within 24 hours and we’ll make arrangements to rectify the situation. We have a satisfaction guarantee that we stand by.
HOW DO YOU ACCESS MY HOME?
Maid Mia needs to get into your home somehow in order to banish those dust bunnies. You can choose one of these three options to allow us into your home: 1. Most Maid Mia customers provide us with a house key that we keep at our office. Your key will be kept safe and secure in our key safe and coded for security. Keys can be left at our office anytime during normal business hours. 2. If it’s not possible to leave a key with us, you can always meet your cleaning Pro at your home. If you’d like to wait for your cleaning Pro, please remember that you will be given an arrival window of about 4 hours — such as 9am to 1pm, or 11am to 3pm. Because many factors can affect arrival time, and we never want to rush out of a home, smaller arrival window can’t be provided. But hey, just give us your key and you don’t have to worry about it. 3. If neither of the above is possible, just give your local Maid Mia office a call and they’ll work with you to make alternate arrangements.
IF I GIVE YOU MY KEYS, HOW ARE THEY PROTECTED?
We understand that you don’t want your house keys in the wrong hands, which is why we’ve set up a secure system to ensure your keys never lose their way. Keys are coded as soon as they enter the office and they are stored in a locked box that only Maid Mia management can access. When your cleaning day is scheduled, your coded key is matched with your cleaning Pro. Upon returning to the office, your cleaning Pro returns all keys to management, who then places them back into the secured storage box.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT MY SECURITY/ALARM ON A CLEANING DAY?
If you have a security system, please make necessary arrangements to give your cleaning Pro access to your home on your scheduled day. Some clients establish a guest or temporary code for Maid Mia.
ARE YOU INSURED AND BONDED?
Yes, we are! Maid Mia has a $1,000,000 liability insurance and all our cleaning Pro are bonded.
CAN I GET A SAME-DAY BOOKING?
we don’t guarantee same-day bookings. But, depending on the day, we can often meet this requirement.
CAN I SCHEDULE AND MAKE CHANGES ONLINE?
Yes, simply go to My Bookings and login with your user credential. You can schedule and reschedule via online 24/7.
DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR MY CLEANING?
It’s completely up to you. Our clients entrust with their keys and come home with a crystal clean home.
DOES MY CLEANER PRO ARRIVE AT THE EXACT TIME I BOOK?
Yes, most of the time. However, we allow a one-hour window due to traffic and weather circumstances. In scenarios where your cleaner will be late, you will be contacted to let you know the ETA.
WHEN AM I CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE?
You are not charged until after the cleaning has been completed. Your invoice will reflect only the amount of time that your cleaner was actually at your home working, rounded-up to the nearest 15 minute increment.
Maid Mia gladly accepts the following forms of payment: * MasterCard * Visa * Cash * Personal check. Payment is due at the time of service and we require a credit card on file prior to your cleaning.
WHAT ABOUT MY PETS?
Please keep your pets secured before we enter your home. If your pet need special treat, please let us know.
ARE THERE ANY COMMITMENTS OF CONTRACTS?
No, you can cancel service anytime without any penalties. You don’t have to commit to any contracts or pre-determined number of appointments.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you ever need to cancel or skip a cleaning day, just give your local Maid Mia office a two business day notice. This will give us time to reassign your cleaning Pro. They love to clean, you know. If Maid Mia receives less than two business days’ notice, or can’t access your home, it may be necessary for us to charge up to the full price of your cleaning.
